First time in the big bathtub.....well, big for me.

Well, my usual baths are on a big teddy bear shaped sponge. But this one is awesome and slippery. My head likes to flop back and forth which we will have to fix. I still cant hold my darn head still but I'm getting stronger. I love to grab and pinch flesh on these big people. I think they like it because they make weird sounds when I do it.

And the video!

Aidan Sneezing...

I know, I know... its just Aidan sneezing. But I added some flair to it....
Gosh he's cute..

Happy Birthday Grandma!

My Grandma is the best and I love her very much. She always helps my Mommy and Daddy and loves to hold me. Sometimes, she skips meals just so she can hold me and she won't drink water or anything because she doesn't want to wake me up when she's holding me. My Mommy is always saying how lucky she is to have such a great Mom and how lucky I am so have her for my Grandma. Also, my Mommy told me that she hopes she can be as good as a parent to me that my Grandma is to her. Hopefully, I won't be so fussy today so that I can go to lunch with Grandpa, Grandma and Mommy. I'll see you later today Grandma. Thank you for taking such good care of me and loving me. Happy Birthday. I love you.

12/4/08 visit to the pediatrican

Aidan had his third visit to the pediatrician yesterday. He now weighs 9 pounds, 10 ounces! YEAH! He was measured and is now 22 inches in length. Aidan was given an oral immunization and his second shot. Aidan wasn't the only one crying, Mom and I both had tears hearing him's so sad and to think we'll be back in two weeks for more shots!

It's been rough the last couple of days. We explained to the pediatrician his crying spells and she told us it sounds like colic. Mom and Jim came over to help, Tim made a great dinner, folded all my holiday cards for work, baked my Mom a cake and then took over until midnight. I'm so lucky to have so much support and Aidan is lucky to have so many people that love him. Aidan got up at 3AM again this morning but I was able to get him fed and back to sleep with minimal crying (unlike yesterday morning). So since it's almost 6:30 AM and I've been up since 3AM, I think I'll try and take a nap.

Much to be thankful for

Thanksgiving was a week ago and I wanted to post this much sooner but better late than never. Aidan and Brandon celebrated their first Thanksgiving. All of us celebrated how thankful we are to have them in our lives. They are beautiful little babies and we are so lucky. Grandma Lori and Grandpa Don came to Simi on Thanksgiving and we were able to celebrate Grandpa's birthday which was a lot of fun. There's a great pic of Grandpa holding both boys which is adorable.

Mom made the best Thanksgiving dinner, as always, and then Grandma and Grandpa Jim took the babies for a walk in the cool stroller Jim bought Mom. Mom, Cyndi and I have went shopping on Black Friday for as long as I can remember and even with two new babies, we still managed to get some shopping in. Eric met us at the mall and Brandon and Aidan had their picture taken with Santa!

Brandon is teething so we all felt really bad for him and his Mommy and Daddy but they are good parents and are very patient. My Mom is the best Grandma, she holds both babies and helps us all so much. We've always had so much to be happy and grateful for but for me personally, having Aidan and Brandon in my life, I've never been so thankful.

I'm one month old!

Aidan turned one month old this past Friday, November 21st and cousin Brandon turned 6 months old the previous day on November 20th! I am so happy to be a mom. Even at 2:30 in the morning when he's crying, I still manage to smile because I feel like the luckiest person to have such a beautiful, healthy baby. Tim got up with Aidan early Saturday morning and let me sleep for 4 hours straight! It was awesome. Aidan has had many new "firsts" within the last week and a half. Aidan met his Grandma Diane, saw his first train, watched his first Nascar race (although he cried during the race....I hope that's not an omen, heehee), went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Simi Valley (Grandma gave him a tour which was very cute), visited Daddy's work, had Friday lunch with the guys, went to lunch and shopping with Mommy and Grandma and met Aunt Gerry, Uncle Bob and Great-Grandma Helen. Wow....what a busy time for such a little guy.

I had Aidan weighed last Thursday and he now weighs 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Two weeks ago, at the pediatrician's office, he weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce which we were ecstatic about seeing as when we left the hospital he had lost 10 ounces from his birth weight and that weight remained unchanged at his first pediatrican appointment one week later. His little cheeks are much more chubby and he just gets cuter every day.

Aidan, there's a song I would sing all the time to you when I was pregnant and I continue to sing to you...

"Every day, there's something new, honey, that keeps me loving you

And with every passing minute, oh baby, so much joy wrapped up in it

Ohhhh, Heaven must have sent you from above

Heaven must have sent your precious love

And now, I've got a song to sing...tellin the world about the joy you bring

Cause you show me what happiness is in so many ways"

Happy 1 month b-day! Your Daddy and I love you very much!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Happy Birthday Grandpa! I can't wait to see you this week and celebrate your birthday! My Mommy was sad she didn't get to see you on your actual birthday. Mommy told me you haven't been feeling well. Hopefully you will feel better by Thanksgiving when I see you.
I love you Grandpa!

Aidan is Popular!

Aidan is so lucky to have so many people that love him. Aunt Cyndi, Uncle Eric and Cousin Brandon drove the long way to Simi because the fires closed down the freeway they normally take to get here. Thank you for spending your entire weekend visiting me. Thank you Grandma Suzy, Grandpa Jim, Grandma Diane and Evelyn for hanging out with me all weekend. My Grandpa Don isn't feeling well so I want to tell him to feel better so he and Grandma Lori can come visit me soon.

Chyke came to visit me on Sunday and I'm really glad I got to meet him finally! My Mommy and Daddy are lucky to have Chyke as a friend. Thanks for coming to visit me!

Grandma & Evelyn Arrive!

Aidan met his Grandma Diane and Evelyn last Thursday. They took a two day train from Illinois to meet Aidan. They arrived on Grandma's birthday and we've been having so much fun since. Grandma and Evelyn love to hold Aidan. Grandma feeds, changes and talks to me! Grandma made me an awesome quilt which means so much because the kitty cats on the quilt were made by my Great Grandma Edna. My Mommy will take good care of the quilt so that I will have it when I'm an adult which is a long time from now and Mommy wants me to stay little so she can hug and kiss me all day! Grandma also brought me a Santa outfit which I'll be super adorable in! Evelyn bought me a really cool sweatshirt from the Reagan Library. Now all I need is a pair of sunglasses and I'll be the coolest baby! I'm so glad Grandma and Evelyn are here and wish they could stay longer.

Aidan's Due Date

Today is Aidan’s actual due date. Our little miracle was two weeks, 3 days early and we have loved getting to know him every day since. He is a good little baby. Aidan and I are still trying to get the hang of breastfeeding but we’ll get there. My Mom/Grandma has been over to our house every day since Aidan’s birth. She has helped us so much. She has made us dinner almost every night. She holds Aidan while we eat or do bills, etc. Mom has done so many errands for us. Tim, Aidan and I are so grateful to her for making these first two weeks so much easier. Aidan is lucky that his Grandma Suzy and Grandpa Jimmy live so close and stop by to visit and help out.
Aidan has been to the pediatrician twice, this past Tuesday we went and were so happy to find out he gained his birth weight back plus two ounces……so the little guy is weighing in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce! Aidan has already lived through many “firsts”. He has lived through his first presidential election, first Halloween (Happy Birthday Aunt Linda!), first rain, first thunder, first lightening and first Santa Ana winds. Aidan has been the center of attention. His Aunt Cyndi, Uncle Eric, Cousin Brandon, Grandpa Don and Grandma Lori all drove to Simi Valley last weekend to visit.
Tim went back to work this week and we’re still trying to figure out creative ways for both of us to get a little more sleep. Tim takes good care of him at night so I can get an hour to two more sleep before the midnight madness sets in! Aidan is so beautiful and not a day goes by that I don’t feel so incredibly happy that he’s finally here. He does this little smile (it’s probably just a gassy thing) that is just the sweetest thing. I don’t think Tim or I will ever stop ooing and awing every time he does it. We can’t even make it through a TV show without pausing the show a dozen times just to watch him. We are the luckiest parents!

We are home now!

After 4 long days in the hospital, we are finally home now. Tif is feeling better but is still extremely sore from the c-section. Aidan is pooing, peeing, and eating just fine.
Tif's mom, dad, sister, husband and Brandon are all here right now helping us out. You guys are all the best.
I will update with more pictures later on. Thanks for your support everyone.
Oh, and thanks for bringing us dinner tonight Jennifer! That really meant a lot to us.
Love everyone!

Pictures and quick video

Here is beautiful Aidan Louis Bundy in his birthday suit. Just a quick FYI: Tif will be getting out of the hospital with Aidan on Saturday. They kicked me out after shacking up with them for 3 straight days and nights. They received an influx of babies so they needed all of the beds. Oh well, it is just one night. Tiffany is healing fast and is already up and about. Now she just gets to deal with our 3 story condo tomorrow. Yikes!

Hello world!!

Yes, the prince has arrived. He took the long train to get here and after 4 heartbreaking years, he has finally claimed his throne. AIDAN LOUIS BUNDY was born on 10/21/08 at 5:25pm via an emergency c-section. Tif and I went to a normal untrasound appointment and discovered that the amniotic fluid level was low and the Dr told us that we were immediately supposed to go to the hospital because we were having the baby TODAY. Well, we thought we had a few weeks to go so we were a tad shocked you might say. Anyways, we headed off to the hospital where Tiffany was induced for a few hours but Aidans heartbeat kept dipping to much so she received another shot to stop the contractions and went immediately into a c-section. I watched the entire thing while holding Tifs hand. It was truley a fascinating thing. Tif did great and in 20 minutes, Aidan made his debut.I cut the cord as well which was great. HE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. He is a blondish red hair, blue eyed baby (I know these colors will change), with big toes like his dad and a little button nose like his mommy. On Wednesday, he was circumsied which I watched as well. DAMN THAT LOOKS PAINFUL...
Ok, well for now, I need to get back to the hospital as we will be there until Saturday because of the c-section. Mom has to heal! Ive been there all night with Tif and have 2 longs days and nights to go.
Also, I apologize for not uploading any pictures but they will be posted tomorrow at this same time as I need to head back into Simi again.
