Happy Birthday Aunt Linda!

I miss my Auntie! I had so much fun playing with her everyday. I wish she lived here so I could play with her all the time. She rocks!

I hope you have a great birthday Auntie! I love you!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Our little prince turned 1 today! It's unbelievable how fast the past year has flown by. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were having an ultra-sound done and then told to go immediately to the hospital because you were ready! You were born at 5:25PM which is the best moment in Mommy and Daddy's life. Our lives changed in the most positive way possible when you were born. You're our miracle, our dream come true, our reason for waking up with a smile. You have the best personality. You make us laugh and you know it so you keep doing whatever it is you're doing to make us laugh in the first place! You crawl really fast, you hold on to things and walk, you mimic us when we cough, when we say "where's Aidan", you cover your eyes with the back of your hands so adorably! You say da-da and ma-ma really well and babble a lot. You try and grab things on a shelf while in your stroller. You refuse your bottle. You eat baby food, banana, yogurt, egg yolk (though not a fan), oatmeal, and rice cereal. You give me hugs and the occasional kiss. You have your favorite drawer in the kitchen with cupcake sprinkles. You try and grab mine and grandma's glasses. You love books, the sounds of trains and waving. You have the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that lights up a room. You are in every aspect, a perfect little boy.

You had a very busy day today. You were very lucky today to have your Grandma, Grampy and Aunt Linda play with you all day. Daddy left Nevada at the break of dawn and drove 12 hours so that he could be home on your b-day because he loves you so much. We are so lucky that Daddy, Aunt Linda, Grandma and Grampy celebrated your birthday with you. You weren't that interested in your birthday cake tonight but that's ok. I really should have made you a teething biscuit cake! I decorated the house for your birthday. I know you won't remember it but I promise I will always make your b-day a big deal because you are a big deal. I will always go overboard with balloons and swirly decorations and cake! I love you so much. Happy Birthday Aidan!

Aunt Linda is here!

My Aunt Linda took a 17 hour train ride from Redding and got here tonight. Mommy, Grandma and I went to get her. I'm so excited she is here! I get to play with her all day tomorrow while Mommy is at work! My Aunt Linda rocks!

I went to my second craft show yesterday. I know you're rolling your eyes Daddy but Mommy and Grandma had to show me off at the Harvest Festival! Oh and we made friends because so many people wanted to talk to Mommy about how cute I am! We had a lot of fun and plus we got to see Bernie and Pat there!

Mommy meant to post a blog last Thursday, Oct. 15th so we're sorry Grandma and Grampy, but better late than never. HAPPY 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! How lucky am I that you chose to watch me on your special day and not go away on a mini vacation. Mommy always tells me how lucky I am that you're my grandparents and my baby-sitter! Thanks for all you both do to take care of me and wow that's like forever that you've been married! Love you lots!

Fun Weekend!

We had a very fun weekend that just passed. Tim got home Friday night and we jammed packed as much fun as possible throughout the weekend. On Saturday we went to Courtney's 5th b-day party and Aidan sat on the outside of the jumper, had his first ride on a swing set and went down the slide (all with help of course). After Courtney's party, I pushed Aidan in the stroller for about an hour so he could take a nap...we passed Brandon Avenue on the way so I took a picture! We walked to Mom's and got to play with Brandon, Eric and Cyndi a bit before we all headed to the pumpkin patch. We had a great time and it was so much fun watching Brandon run around, playing with hay, picking up pumpkins and getting dirty! Aidan loved being pulled in the wagon and both boys had plenty to do and see to keep entertained.

Sunday morning we went back over to Grandma and Grampy's to hang out and play some more. We had lunch at Toppers and then Aidan, Tim and I went home to get laundry done (as you can see from the pic, Aidan helped out), and get Tim packed. We had a nice, relaxing afternoon, got chores done and just enjoyed being together.

Tim left early Monday morning and will be gone for over a week. We miss him very much but appreciate how hard he is working and just look forward to him coming home. Thanks Aunt Cyndi, Uncle Eric and cuz Brandon for driving to Simi and having so much fun with Aidan. Grandma and Grampy....well...let's just say YOU ROCKED with your matching Halloween shirts. Great Grandma Trahan sent A & B matching Halloween shirts and jeans which they wore adorably to the patch! Maw-maw and Paw-paw sent B & A (sounds like root beer or a drive in or something) the cutest matching Halloween pjs, which glow in the dark and are super awesome. Both boys are very lucky to have so many people that love them so much.
