May Days

Happy Memorial Day! I have had a very eventful May with a lot of "firsts".

I still eat baby food, oatmeal, rice cereal, yogurt and applesauce (I like all the flavors). I love Ritz crackers and will eat wheat and sourdough toast. I still love my cheese and vegie puffs and eat yogurt melts, goldfish crackers and cheerios. I drink milk and juice.

  • Grandma & Grandpa Bundy visited me for two weeks, it was my first time to meet Grandpa and they played with me, my favorite was them taking me to the park all the time!
  • First time to play and be around a dog (Molly...I liked screaming because then Molly would make a funny noise back at me)
  • First time to meet my cousins Hope, Dylan and Kammi
  • Aunt Linda visited me for almost two weeks. She taught me 1...2...3....GO and then I run to her! She helped take care of me and played with me a lot!
  • Played with my Aunt Cathy and cousin Dawn-Dawn
  • Had fun at Brandon's second b-day party and stood on his presents while he opened them!
  • Got my first big boo-boo (when I fell) on my forehead (@ B's party) :=(
  • Went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time (Denver & Dallas' second b-day party)
  • First time to go to Pasadena & a nursing home in Alhambra
  • First time to go to Venice
  • First time to go to Pea Soup Andersons in Buellton
  • First time to go to a mission (Solvang)
  • Got my first cough which I still have but is getting better
  • Tried many new foods......pizza, chicken nugget, french fry, green bean, waffle, pickle, string cheese, sesame stick, garlic snack mix, Dorito, Kix cereal.....Mommy & Daddy got me my first happy meal today...Memorial Day!

I love playing with cars and drive them on almost any surface. I like to be read to and I pucker my lips and give kisses. I love to turn on and off lights and will crawl on anything and everything possible to get to a light switch. I love to climb on things and throw tantrums quite frequently these days when told no! I still love the wagon but my favorite new thing is going in the bicycle carrier with Daddy! Daddy just put some sort of lock on the frig because I can open it on my own and I like to take things out!

Mommy says I'm the most awesome 25 pound bundle of energy! Bye-bye May!

Missing Grandma & Grandpa

I'm 19 months today! My Grandma, Grandpa and Molly flew home to Illinois yesterday. I miss them. This morning when Mommy and I came downstairs, I looked for them =-(

I really miss them and had so much fun with them. They took me to the park almost every day and it was so nice to have them at my house. They got here on May 6th and stayed until May 20th. I did so many fun things with them including Venice Beach, Bubba Gump restaurant, Red Robin (grandma got me a balloon), Farmer’s Market, Brandon’s b-day party, going to Pasadena and Alhambra to visit their friends Bob and Frenchy, Santa Barbara Pier, La Conchita, Pea Soup Andersons in Buellton, Solvang, In & Out and spending Mother’s Day with Grandma.

Mommy had a lot of fun pitching horseshoes with Grandpa and shopping with Grandma. Daddy enjoyed going to a movie with Grandma and also going to buy his new mountain bike while she was here. The last two weeks have been jammed packed with fun. Thanks for visiting me. I love you both.

Aunt Linda!

My Aunt Linda left Redding at 2:25 AM today and got to Simi Valley tonight at 7:50PM! I'm super glad she's here!

Grandma and Grandpa went to watch me at my Gymboree Class today and then Grandma made her famous fried chicken and mashed potatoes with white gravy. Daddy absolutely loves it! After dinner, Mommy and I went to see Aunt Linda at the train station. My eyes got really big when I saw the lights on the choo-choo coming towards us and the loud sound!

Yesterday, Daddy took Grandma and Grandpa for sushi and Grandpa used chopsticks like a pro! I wasn't there but Mommy and Daddy told me about it.

Tomorrow, I get to go with Grandma and Grandpa to see two of their friends in Pasadena and Alhambra!

Superb Mother's Day Weekend!

Grandma and Grandpa arrived Thursday and we've been having a great time since!

Friday, after work, we went to the park and played. Grandpa tried out the new horseshoes Mommy got, we saw the ducks in the pond and I played at the park. After the park, we went to have some dinner at Red Robin (Grandma got me a balloon) and walked around farmer's market.

Saturday, after b-fast, we headed to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier. We had a really great day watching everyone which included a lot of wierdos! We walked a lot but had an ocean view the entire time which made it really nice. We had linner (lunch and dinner) at Bubba Gump, walked along the pier and then headed home. I was asleep before we even hit the I-10 freeway, or as Mommy called it, the parking lot. We were all exhausted when we got home.

Today is Mother's Day so I let Mommy sleep until 7AM. Grandma, Uncle Eric and Aunt Cyndi made a feast for brunch. It was so awesome to have my three Grandmas and my three Grandpas all together. It was the first time ever and it rocked! I'm so lucky to have my grandparents, they love me and I love them back!
After playing with Brandon and having a great time, I went home and took a nap. Mommy and Daddy took me on a bike ride with the carrier Heather/Kevin/Kendyl gave me...you guys are awesome, thank you!!!

Right now, I'm playing downstairs with my Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa and Molly. What a great weekend! I love my Grandmas...Happy Mommy's Day. And now.....my Mommy would like to add something from her.

Aidan, I'm so lucky to be your Mommy. You are the most wonderful part of my life, you're perfect in every way and I seem to say all the time, can you be any cuter but somehow you just get cuter and cuter as every day passes. I love your hugs, I love your smile and laugh, I love everything that makes you my adorable son! Love you handsome!

My Busy Weekend

I went to Oxnard on Saturday to see my Grandma and Grandpa. I had so much fun playing with them. Grandma had all sorts of toys for me to play with and she chased me around outside, played with me and made me laugh. Grandma and Grandpa took Mommy and I to the beach and we walked out to the lighthouse....I leisurely rode in my stroller while Grandpa very proudly pushed me. When we got to the end near the lighthouse, Grandma showed me the waves and all sorts of fun things at the beach! Grandma let me play on the benches and I had fun!

Grandma and Grandpa got hoagies for us and we went back to have lunch at their house. Grandma tried to feed me but I was being picky and didn't feel so much like eating!

After three hours of playing, I was wore out and so Mommy and I got in the car and I fell asleep in less than five minutes. Mommy ended up driving us all the way to see Auntie, Uncle and Brandon! I played outside with B and Uncle pushed me really fast in the wagon and I had a permanent smile the entire time! Mommy and I had a lot of fun visiting everyone!

Sunday morning I helped Mommy get groceries and then we met Grandma for lunch. I had a nap and then it was off to the park with Daddy. Daddy always gives me a juice box at the park and lets me be brave and go down the slide on my own. Mommy was off spending some quality time with her Mommy!
